Oasis of Hope a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to affordable housing in South Florida. The President of this organization is from Louisiana, and she wants you to have an authentic New Orleans experience created for South Florida.
Join us for a flavorful journey through Creole cuisine's vibrant tastes, from gumbo to jambalaya and everything in between. As part of the festivities and in the spirit of National Homeownership Month, join us at 6 pm for a groundbreaking ceremony for one of our new construction affordable housing projects at 633 NW 14th Avenue. The celebration continues with a New Orleans-style second line to the YMCA's Rooftop 100 feet away at 1409 NW 6th St (Sistrunk Boulevard), Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311, a perfect way of blending community spirit with the soulful true essence of New Orleans!
Homeownership is more than just owning a home; it's about creating stability, building equity, and strengthening neighborhoods. National Homeownership Month is the perfect time to reflect on its impact on supporting first-time buyers and to learn more about Oasis of Hope CDC, a 501(C)3 non-profit organization working in the Fort Lauderdale community.
